Early College Veterinary Terminology (For High School Sophomores and Juniors)

This course is an introduction to veterinary terminology. The student will become familiar with the foundation of veterinary medical language such as word roots, prefixes, suffixes, and combining forms.  Nomenclature of animal species will be discussed and the student will be introduced to and be able to identify common breeds in multiple animal species.
