CourseGraphic This course is an introduction to the theory and applications of the refrigeration process as it relates to HVAC. Topics include refrigerants, system operation, tools, piping and fittings, soldering and brazing, and refrigerate charging. This course is hands-on training. Upon completion of the course the student will be able to :
Identify refrigerants
Explain how refrigerates contribute to HVAC systems
Demonstrate tubing installation
Demonstrate basic soldiering and brazing
Describe the refrigeration cycle
