“Starting and Growing a Business” is one class, which will be set up as a series of four weekly Roundtables. The class will be taught by Amanda Teixeira, of Concordia Solutions.

The dates will be:
October 22, 2025                      
October 29, 2025                      
November 5, 2025                    
November 12, 2025
All classes will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Morgan County Center.


Roundtable 1:  Starting with the End in mind 
In this Roundtable, we will discuss how to develop an exit strategy, how to start thinking about how to operationalize the plan and the risks and benefits to different scenarios.

Roundtable 2:  Starting and maintaining the business
In this Roundtable, credit and access to start up capital and operating capital for growth will be covered.

Roundtable 3: Your Critical Business Team
In this Roundtable, we will discuss how to develop relationships with key business partners such as the bank, the attorney, the insurance people and the CPA. 

Roundtable 4: Your Operations Support Team
In this Roundtable, we will discuss marketing your business, accounting, different business tools and technologies, facilities and maintenance, business assets and other related operational challenges a business may face.

Amanda Hollins-Teixeira has over 30 years experience as an entrepreneur.  Her passion is to spread her knowledge to other businesses, from micro businesses to large businesses.   Helping them in start up and growth phases is her specialty.  With a Bachelors in Accounting, a Project Management Professional Certification and a Masters Certificate in Contracting, she uses her extensive experience in Finance to help guide her clients. Concordia Solutions helps the micro to mid-sized businesses ensure every part of the business is working in harmony their clients keep more of their own money.
