Overview

This one-day, hands-on workshop introduces K–12 educators to
the power of artificial intelligence as a practical teaching assistant.
Participants explore how AI can streamline lesson planning, personalize
instruction, support diverse learners, and enhance creativity without
requiring technical expertise.

By the end of this workshop, participants will understand how to use
AI tools to generate lesson plans, rubrics, and differentiated materials;
support student learning with AI-powered feedback, tutoring, and
creative prompts, identify ethical considerations, including bias, privacy,
and responsible use.

Tools Explored:

• Copilot (lesson design, writing support)
• MagicSchool.ai / Eduaide.ai (teacher-specific AI platforms)
• Diffit / Curipod / Canva (differentiation, engagement, and visuals)
• ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini (creative prompts, feedback, and tutoring)

Participants leave with:
