
Brokerage Operation and Management – Module 1 of the West Virginia Broker Pre-licensing Training
Brokerage Operation and Management is the first of three modules needed for the West Virginia Broker Pre-licensing Training. The three Broker Pre-licensing Modules together provide the complete 90 hours of training required by the West Virginia Real Estate Commission. Students must take all three modules in order to apply to the WVREC to take the Broker Licensing examinations. Module 1 consists of 30 hours of pre-licensing education as approved by the West Virginia Real Estate commission. The course reviews concepts of market research, legal issues in a real estate brokerage, business planning, brokerage registration, establishing an office financial management, developing a policy and procedures manual and marketing plans, technology and information management. The final examination is in addition to the training hours and students must pass the examination with a grade of 75 % or better in order to receive a certificate of completion. This course is offered via live class room and attendance to all classes is mandatory. Includes textbook.
