The Academy of Culinary Arts at Blue Ridge CTC is excited to begin offering a three-day, summer culinary workshop for students who recently graduated. Join Chef's Lara Cramer and Steve Weiss for this the three-day workshop that will serve as an overview of the culinary arts certificate and degree programs offered at Blue Ridge CTC. The workshop is designed with new high school grauates in mind. This is a great opportunity to see if you would enjoy a career and degree studies in culinary arts. Culinary arts graduates are in high demand.
The workshop will introduce students to a working industrial kitchen. It will cover the basics of culinary arts, baking, and meal production. Students will learn the basics of knife skills, sanitation, and other foundational culinary skills.
