Ready to take the next steps in your grant writing journey? On August 28, 2026, Blue Ridge Community and Technical College will host the West Virginia Grant Resource Centers for a free Grants 101 Workshop!
This comprehensive workshop, developed and led by the Grant Centers’ staff, will guide participants even deeper through each critical step of the pre-award process, including:
- Seeking and Finding Grants
- Writing a Strong Grant Proposal
- Developing a Budget and Budget Narrative
- Identifying Matching Funds
- Thinking Like a Reviewer
- Getting Grant Ready

The Grants 101 Workshop is a comprehensive training program from the West Virginia Grant Resource Centers that guides participants through each critical step of the pre-award process. Developed and presented by the Grant Centers, these workshops aim to help West Virginia communities, organizations, and other eligible entities grow their grant writing and application assembly skills.
This Training is Recommended For:
West Virginia communities, nonprofits, businesses, and other eligible entities that are interested in engaging with the grant writing process.
No prior grant-writing experience is required.
